Helping the media to represent issues around illicit drug use

The aim of this Wellcome Trust funded project is to steer journalists, researchers and others who write on drug issues away from common misconceptions. The guidance is not meant to censor but to make the media aware of areas where reporting has been problematic. In addition to guidance on drug related issues there is also a brief section that refers to problematic styles of reporting. DrugScope is hosting this guide as part of our charitable remit to inform and educate the public about drug related issues.
