A one-stop resource for the 'what works' literature
Welcome to Drug and Alcohol Findings
Drug and Alcohol Findings bridges the divide between research on the effectiveness of responses to drug and alcohol problems and the practitioners who provide those interventions, with a focus on UK-relevant research.
Findings encapsulates the studies' findings, sets them in context and explores the implications for practice. From 1999 to 2006 its main output was the Drug and Alcohol Findings magazine but this has now been replaced by a free online database called the Effectiveness Bank.
You can search for Findings documents and selected source research papers on broad themes like treatment or prevention, specific topics, or conduct free text searches - please see the Findings website.
Findings is a partnership project managed by DrugScope, Alcohol Concern, and the National Addiction Centre together with the editor, Mike Ashton (email).
