Antipsychotics

Used to treat a wide range of illnesses

Antipsychotics are prescribed to treat people with a wide range of mental health problems such as schizophrenia, hallucination, brain damage, mania, and agitated depression.

Antipsychotics generally tranquillise without impairing consciousness. For conditions such as schizophrenia the tranquillising effect is of secondary importance.
