Education and prevention home

The Education and Prevention team is a partnership between DrugScope and Alcohol Concern.

Our aim is to identify, develop and promote good practice in alcohol and drug education. We work to ensure that young people across the UK have access to the best possible drug education, enabling them to make informed decisions about their lifestyle and keep themselves safe from the harm that drugs can cause.

We do this by:

• Disseminating good practice guidance.
• Running workshops, seminars and conferences
• Providing an evaluation advice and consultancy service
• Providing advice and support over the phone or by e-mail
• Undertaking innovative pilot projects
• Supporting the Drug Education Practitioner's Forum and the National Young People Drug Treatment Forum
