DrugScope works to ensure that drug policy is rational, humane and informed. We believe that its aim should be to minimise drug-related harm, protect rights, promote inclusion and fight stigma. We accept that there is room for different perspectives on drug policy, but it is important that public debate is based on facts and evidence, not myth and misperception.
As the UK's leading independent centre for expertise on drugs and drug policy we lobby for policy that is evidence-based. As the national membership organisation for the drug sector, we are in a unique position to ensure that the voices and experiences of service users and those working across the drug sector are heard in policy debates.
DrugScope speaks with a voice that is both fully independent and firmly rooted in the latest research evidence and the experiences of our wide and diverse membership and other stakeholders.
