Information: A coalition of voluntary and community organisations are launching the ‘Race for Justice’ campaign.

The campaign will raise awareness of the inequalities faced by black and minority ethnic (bme) offenders in the criminal justice system. It will also promote the role of the voluntary and community sector (vcs) in tackling these inequalities. The coalition is staging three free consultation seminars to gather evidence about the role of the vcs in working with bme offenders and ex-offenders.

Contact: The seminars are being co-ordinated by Clinks and the National Body of Black Prisoner Support Groups (NBBPSG) with NACRO on behalf of the coalition.

If you would like to attend, please contact katie.aston@clinks.org, An agenda for the day with speaker details will be sent to you nearer the time.
