Information: The changing patterns in practice in managing personality disorder have resulted in a number of new initiatives, as well as endorsement of some of the traditional modes of practice. The complexity and diversity of people presenting to services has resulted in a number of innovative approaches across a spectrum of care. Some of these are evidenced at the conference. This conference will explore the work being done by a range of agencies from different settings and sectors. The day will be of particular interest to frontline workers and will contain a strong practical element.

The conference will focus on some innovative approaches to treatment and management of individuals with a personality disorder in a variety of settings. Delegates will:

  • hear from practitioners and key stakeholders about good practice projects
  • share experiences and good practice through interactive, in-depth seminars
  • take part in networking opportunities to strengthen partnership work
  • explore some of the issues facing service users and discuss treatment options.
