TARGET AUDIENCE - Practitioners in Health and Social Services.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES - To learn theoretical approaches and basic principles in understanding substance misuse across the lifespan; To develop basic assessment and treatment planning skills; To translate prevention and intervention evidence into the workplace.
TEACHING FORMAT - Seminars will cover factual information and workshops will facilitate skills development. Both will emphasise interaction by student participation.
CERTIFICATION - All participants will be presented with a Certificate of Attendance upon successful completion of the course.
