I am writing to update you about the DrugScope conference on 3rd November 2010. The conference will address some of the opportunities and challenges facing the drug and alcohol sector in the coming years – themes and topics for discussion include:
- Are we serious about recovery?
- Redesigning services for the future
- Making local partnerships and national policy deliver for communities
- Prison drug treatment – challenges for delivery
- Families: have we come full circle?
- Can treatment break the link between drugs and crime?
- Redefining the problem drug user
We are pleased to confirm that Anne Milton MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers and contributors at the conference include:
