Live consultations

A drug strategy consultation paper was published by the Home Office on 20^th August. The closing date for responses to the consultation is 30^th September. The consultation paper is available on the Home Office website here:

In partnership with our colleagues in the Drug Sector Partnership (Adfam, the Alliance and eATA), DrugScope is hosting 3 regional consultation events to help inform our response to the drug strategy consultation. The events are being held in central London (6^th September), Birmingham (7^th September) and Newcastle (10^th September). Each event starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 4.45 pm.

There are a limited number of places available at each of the consultation events. If you would like to attend (and have not already been in contact), please let us know as soon as possible. Please contact Emma Ward, Policy and membership Officer, for the Birmingham and Newcastle events or Esther Sample, Policy Officer (LDAN), for the London event.

Please get in touch by 4.00pm on Thursday 2^nd September if you would like to attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a place but will confirm whether a place is available by midday on Friday 3^rd September for the London and Birmingham events and by midday 8^th September for the Newcastle event.
